Program Management |
The IE Council serves as the leadership body to provide oversight for the program. The IE Council is chaired by a senior leader of the facility. The IE Program Officer directs the day-to-day operations of the program and acts as administrative officer for the council. |

Ethics Consultation |
Ethics consultation improves health care quality by helping staff members, patients, and families resolve ethical concerns. IE provides comprehensive standards, methods, and tools to ensure high quality ethics consultations in all VHA Facilities. |

Preventive Ethics |
Preventive Ethics tackles recurring ethical concerns by applying quality improvement methods to identify and address ethics quality gaps on a systems level. |

Ethical Leadership |
The Ethical Leadership component of IE provides health care leaders with the practical tools and training they need to foster an ethical environment and culture that will make it easier for employees to "do the right thing." |
